Franchise

A franchise agreement is a contract in which the owner of franchise business (franchisor) grants a license to a business operator (franchisee), which allows the franchisee to run a business under franchisor's name. 

Franchise termination is termination of a franchise business license by a franchisor or a franchisee.

The franchise contract can be terminated in the following ways:

§  It may be possible to terminate if the franchisor has breached the franchise agreement. 

§  Terminate the franchise agreement on mutual terms.

§  Terminated by franchise agreement: some franchise agreements do provide the franchisee with an option to terminate.

§  A franchisor that is practicing Franchise fraud,that may lead to termination.
